Panel Filter for P1

P1 owner---saw a pic of it once, it had the sti logo on the center of the panel filter .
Actually there was a thread here a while back.

Whats the difference in the HKS filter and the ITG filet for the P1......?

HKS doesn't have the infamous gunge in it that "might" affect the MAF - comes recommended by BRD.

anyone tried the STI panel filter replacement sold by scoobymania ??
I believe it's a dry type, always been meaning to try one but never got round to ordering one.

I've got the STi panel filter in my P1. No idea what difference if any it makes. Hopefully it just filters better
Oh, it says STi on it. But it's in the airbox so you can't see it

I think that John Felstead uses these on his STi 5 Type RA V-Ltd, probably one of the only filters that wont kill your maf sensor and filter air

Im using one already, and i still havny had chance to fit the new one yet, even though the bank holiday has been v-sunny... :-(
When i bought the car it already existed, and my nice dealer, would honour it,, as i bought the car from them.
I understand they are for life, but no matter how good the cleaning is, it surely cant get rid of all the ****.
