As the title says really.......
What oil do you put in your 01> WRX and any ideas what the viscocity is?? Fully synthetic or semi??

I use Mobil 1 motor sport FS with no problems 30,000+ miles. I also change my oil and filter every 5000miles between scheduled service intervals.

As advised by Mainland:
Castrol GTX Magnatech 10W/40.
As I approach the 15000 service thinking of switching to semi or fully synth.

 

Magnatech is semi synthetic but i wouldnt put it in mine,buy your own and let them put it in at the service.
Mainland are now using Castrol SLX 0-30 which is definately not good, as its way too thin.

Mobil Motorsport is all i've ever used, put your hand in your pocket Mr A and buy some quality oil.

PS. Nick do you know how to open your bonnet yet ?
