Question

Are batteries covered by warrenty?
One of my mates has a MY02 WRX and has been having problems with his battery. I told him to get it replaced at the dealers as it is still under warrenty, but he says the battery and anything through natural wear and tear isn't covered.

Batteries are covered.

The whole flippin car is subject to "wear 'n tear", but I'd expect a battery to last at least 5yrs and so should any manufacturer of a new car.
