Will STI8 alloys fit a 97 classic turbo without any hassle?

Arch clearance might be very tight, but otherwise they will fit.
They will fit a Legacy, although the rear arches are very very close. I would guess an impreza would be the same, if not worse.

Cheers m8 any ideas on how much they usually go for with tyres?

Yes they will fit, but the standard STi tyres don't, you'll pay about £550 - £600 for a set
