And do I need one? I have a turbo legcay estate with:
1 HKS panel filter
2 Mongoose full ss exhaust
3 Iridium spark plugs
4 Superchip
5 Lambda Link
6 Run on Optimax, Millers Octane Booster and Millers Injectore cleaner
7 Boost Gauge

Apparently it is running at about 260BHP with max boost of 1.2 Bar

I asked about the Superchip and someone replied saying that I need a 'Knocklink'. If I do need one then how much and where can I get it fitted. I am based in the Rochdale area (near Manchester). Is what the car running at dangerous or what?
Apparently

A KnockLink detects knock
Whether what you have is 'dangerous' or not depends on how badly the SuperChips was set up.
A KnockLink is good as you don't really ever want any knock, and a SuperChips is likely to promote it. Very likely, actually. And if you're getting knock (lights blink at you from the black box that is the knocklink), it's time to remove your foot from the loud pedal. If it does is more often than very occassionaly, especially with your set-up, you may want to think about removing the SuperChip...
But yes, you want a KnockLink (& the seperate sensor).

Cool

A knocklink saves your bacon!! Get one

It basically flashes lights at you if your Air / Fuel mix is causing an 'unhealthy' explosion inside the cylinders, instead of a "healthy" one. As "unhealthy" explosions will kill your engine in minutes, having a nice big warning light is good!

Things that can cause knock: Too Much boost (cold weather, badly set up chip, intercooler fluid being too low) or insufficient fuelling (clogged injector, fuel starvation, inadequate fuel pump and (the most likely) a bad batch of fuel).

As SuperChips are known for not being the most 'sympathetic' setup for your car (i.e. they chuck a lot of the safety features from the ECU in the bin) a knocklink is a pretty good idea.

They are about £180 in this country, unless you can find a group buy.

BTW I love my leggyT too

Yup: Legacy has an air / water intercoler (an very effective it is too!) so if our charge temps are getting to high, we just put a bigger radiator in the front
