My MY95 1.6GL's centre section cat is leaking slightly so may well need replacing (although it's still ok for MOTs for the time being I'm told). Seems like a good excuse to upgrade the exhaust to me. I'd like it to sound decent but not be much louder than standard really, and a few extra ponies would do no harm.
Are centre sections for the turbo (OE and/or aftermarket bits) compatible with normally aspirated Imprezas? And what about the backboxes? A 2nd hand centre section (/backbox) for a turbo is a much more common sight in For Sale than for a N/A you see, so I'm really hoping they're compatible.
Does anyone know if a de-catted non-turbo Impreza will pass the emissions test in the MOT?
Cheers,
Ben

Can'nt help with the centre box, but thought about a universal backbox?
I have a Rage s/s backbox I am thinking of putting on my 97 sport, 5" tailpipe. Will post pics if i ever get it on.
