iffy

Ive just fitted a Pipercross Induction kit 2 my Subaru WRX 94. Thr prob is when the engine is cold and idleing it makes an awful hissing noise, can u tell me if this is normal for Subarus as my other cars havent done it b4. Once the engine warms the noise stops.

AFAIK all induction kitrs make a hissing noise, it is the air being sucked into the engine! Shouldn't disappear when hot though (my old K&N did it all the time, I though it sounded cool)
