I have just installed a boost gauge into MY95. What I would like to know is what sort of readings (psi) should I expect to see and when. The gauge seems to be working OK i.e. it is on vacuum when idling and increase when I blip the pedal. I havent taken it for a run yet.

Can anyway please explain what readings and when I should expect to see them, or maybe send me link to a site that will explain it all.

Excuse the ignorace still getting to grips with a high performance car.

Many thanks Anthony

The readings you will see are completely dependant on throttle position, engine speed and load ..... max boost will depend on the model of your car/ ECU .... if its any comparison mines a UK MY00, max pressure around 12/13 psi ... on tick over -8/9 psi, obviously everything in between depending on the above conditions.

If everything is running fine with your car memorise the boost under various conditions for comparison in case its ever not running as it should.

hope this helps
