Help! How do i fit my dump valve
#1
Hello,
Tried fitting my bailey dump valve to a 99(T)UK car today and it didnt work.
Can anybody give me a detailed method (Pics if possible) so i am doing it right.
I took the standard DV off and there is no pipe behind the intercooler so which pipe goes on the bailey DV and which pipe do i supposedly block off as i connected the two pipes which came off the stndard one.
This is obviously wrong as the car hesitated as the turbo cut in.
I will be grateful to anybody that can put me in the right direction. (i do have fitting kit but no instuctions)
cheers
steve

It is fitted exactly how the pic shows, the other pipe returns back to the intake because your old DV was recirculating... you have to put a bung in the other bottom pipe that goes back to the intake BEFORE the turbo..!because presumably your new DV is not recirculating..?????? If you note where the DV is in the pic it is AFTER the turbo, where it should be.
I think this is how its fitted....
