Depends what you want to use the switch for!

A normally open switch will close and make a circuit when the set pressure level is reached. A normally closed will do the opposite ie break a circuit when the pressure is reached.

If you wanted to activate something when the pressure reaches a certain level, I would use a normally open that closes to activate a relay to operate the device.

Nick i'm in dealing with a company at the moment.

I'm sure if we both got a switch it would work out cheaper.

Renault 5 GTTurbo overboost cutout switch.

Normally open, adjustable limit by small screw (factory set at 14psi) and discarded by most owners.
The thread is a strange fit, but it will fit snugly on the end of a 6mm boost pipe. I used mine for a waterspray on my 5, coming in at 20psi.

I assume so, but id try the renault breakers and tuners first as most aftermarket boost hoses dont have the fittings for the switch in them. Unless you pay more for them, and whos going to do that.

People normally unplug them rather than adjust them anyway as most fives run over 14psi white boost controllers. So they are often discarded. I reckon a fiver will get one

I reset mine to 20psi to run an intercooler spray by fitting it to the end of my CO2 bootle (mig welder) with the regulator set at the correct pressure. As soon as I got resistance accross the poles, it was set. Very Easy.

www.rtoc.org is a good place to look for contacts.
