Jap 12 V Ciggy converter ???

Is there such a thing to convert the Jap Ciggy lighter to UK size so I can plug in me Snooper ??? Any ideas. I know I can wire it to the Fuse box but a UK spec Lighter socket would be handly all the same.

Are you sure that there is a difference?! I say that simply because my '98 JDM's socket happily accepts my phone charger, an electric coolbox, a 12v vacuum cleaner without a problem.

Weird, my snooper power lead definity doesnt fit in it, have to find some thing else with 12 V plug on the end and try, bet snooper have sent me the wrong replacement lead.

i tried to swap the *** lighter from my vectra into my scooby and it didnt fit!!! (cos the vectra one looks nicer )
the scooby one was smaller
