On my wrx sti 2 the rev gauge is redlined at 7000rpm but i thought they were meant to be redlined at 8250rpm. Can anyone shed any light on this please?

yep its 8250rpm but all the wrx clocks are the same.

my STi2 doesn't seem keen to rev much beyond the mid 7000s, but by then its past its best anyway. change up
