Gents your advice and opinions are needed, my dilema is i have no idea what to do to my car next (99 uk turbo with Tek 2, full SS decat and uprated brakes) i am toying with the following mods, new uppipe, uprated TMIC and samco hoses, i don't want to spend silly money on it so big turbos and FMIC's are probably out of the question, if i fit the above mods will i notice any difference in power!!!! What is the next logical step.

a confused manny!!

I have a similar set up.

I bought a set of Samco Turbo hoses before the TEK2.5. Only had them on the car for a day before having the ECU remapped but the car did pull a little harder. Even if you can not notice a performance gain they are not too expensive and are far superior to the OE items.

I've got pretty much the same car and dilema.
Braided steel brake hoses are my next mods.

I have as you + uppipe (£125 ex fitting) + tek3 (BRD £375 ) + HKS Superpower flow induction (£180)+ bumpsteer @ Powerstation (£141) and 17 inch superlegs with F1's (£1050)

Tek3 improves power with induction/uppipe. Bumpsteer is well worth it.

Personally wouldnt get wheels bigger than 17" as you will need 35 profile or lower tyres which will make the ride to hard unless you drive on very smooth surfaces!

Fitting the Samcos is very easy but I did walk away filthy and with skinned knuckles but then I would.

A definite DIY job. I had some instructions somewhere, will see if I can find them.

Report back on the up pipe as it's a mod I've not really considered but would do if it makes a reasonable difference.
