have cahnged the whole exhaust on my impreza even the headers and got an ecutek ecu and water injection but i have not done anything with the dump valve, how important would it be to fit a good quality dump valve or is it more about the Whooosh

Hi stevebt. Just fitted a blitz super sound to my car today. For me its all about the whooosh. It would make you quicker through the grears (in theory) but not by a lot. I`m not into changing gears hard to feel the benefit - i like to treat my gearbox and clutch with a bit of respect. (most of the time)
