Question

going to do a DIY water injection system - and need to get a pressure switch - or do i need a vacuum switch as this needs to go on the inline vacuum pipe.... I am confused - I think it is a pressure switch that is required - can anyone confirm this?

For those interested there is a good article in the back of the latest true grip on how to do this.....

Cheers

Cool

The article in true grip is about an Intercooler Waterspray System, not a water injection system. Which are you doing? Out of interest, I've got a home-cooked injection system that is giving good results, but currently has too small a resevoir. Once I sort out a suitable resevoir ....

The real answer to your question is that you need a boost switch. In either case you don't want to be wasting water unless you are on-boost or using a manual override (say on the start line of a drag strip before a run).

Thanks folks - bit of bad terminology there on my part - intercooler water spray is what I meant doh...

Looks like a pressure switch it is then - if i get an adjustable one i can set it up to the relevant psi before it kicks in.
