Removal of TEK2
#1
Firtsly, where is the Tek2 box and secondly how do you remove it to set the car back to standard. Is it best to have it done at the place that fitted it or is it easy to do.

Basically its just the reverse of fitting it, should take about 20 minutes. Peel back the carpet in the passenger footwell, remove the large silver plate underneith. There you will find the ECU plugged into a large bunch of wires with a few large plugs. Pull out the plugs, undo the nuts holding the ECU in place, then refit whatever you are putting in its place in exactly the same way, then reassemble the lot.
Piece of cake really!

Above is assuming you have a spare ecu with no Ecutek on it.
If you dont then i recommend you sell it with a standard ecu in echange + cash.
Or you get whoever did the install to reflash the ECu back to standard. Then you have just thrown your money in the bin IMO.
