Oil cap....

Just been giving the car the once over & on checking the oil noticed that the oil cap was covered by yellow slim on the inside.What does this mean can anyone help.......thx

clean it off and see if it comes back.. sometimes you get this if the car is only driven short distances and it results in condensation being created in the cap which mixes with the oil....!!!

If its there all the time it could mean a head gasket problem i.e the water and oil mixing.
