Advice needed - Brakes...

As above folks, recently I've noticed that my brakes don't feel the same when braking, they now feel a bit spongey (Technical Term
)
I know that my rear discs are pretty worn but think my fronts are ok, I was under the impression that the fronts did all the hard work
If they need replaced can anyone recommend Brand/Supplier etc..UK MY98 Turbo
Would be much appreciated.
