What software can I use on a Laptop to reprograme my ECU

 

Which ecu do you have, might be a good start

 

ECU is 2001 and will be model 530 or a 531

 

I see ECUTEK sell there DeltaECU software but it says you must be a commercial tuner. Do you need a rolling road to set up an map?

Would also be interested in learning the art of mapping...

 

Looks like you can order it regardless of being a pro tunner or not. Might order looks good any other website

How about APEXi has anyone found any laptop software for these Power FC units yet ??

 

There are 2 versions of Delta dash AFAIK.

The standard - end user one - is really a recording, data logging etc tool

The tuner - Licensed tuners only - is for those that map professionally and are registered with ECUTEK i believe.

Bishop if you find out any more info send it on to me please. I'd av a go at mapping.......have to pick up assembler first though 8)

 

As far as im aware there is only one version of delta dash.... this is basically logging software. If you have a MY99 onwards car and want to map it you need delta ecu... which i beleive they won't sell to any Tom, Dick or Harry. And it's not cheap.
