It just denotes that the engine is built by STi (uprated internals, intercooler etc) rather than the standard flat 4 (except the original version of the STi).

my mates got one and it was the second fastest car at crail last time it was on he was only 0.08 slower than a p1 saying that he has anti lag but im not sure what has been done to the engine. What power does a standard sti put out anybody?

Anti lag on a road car?!
Waste of a turbo if you ask me
A jdm spec sti (from 3 upwards i think) push out (depending if its a v-ltd or not) 280ps (on 100 ron fuel for non-v-ltd) but some pushed out 300ps (definately the later v-ltd versions).

well its a road legal rally car in the progress not sure if he has the cage in yet only spoken to him on to phone.
