Boost drop down!
Does sound like the solenoid is not operating, tohugh 1 bar sounds high for base boost - clean out the solenoid / pipes with brake cleaner and run the diag mode to check solenoid is operating porperly.
Certainly get your ECU checked if it has been off for more than a few hours.
Also: Check your intercooler pipe. I know it sounds stupid, but these DO go, and you may/ may not have had the intercooler off to change gearbox. If you DID then the hose may have split, losing all your lovely boost pressure.

From: Down South to Ooop North to Back Down South again!!
I did exactly what Turbo_Steve said the other day. Took the intercooler off but didn't connect the pipe underneath properly & was leaking boost all over the place. I couldn't get over 10psi when it normally runs at 15.5psi. Made a hell of a noise though
1 bar still seems high for standard boost but check your pipes & check the wastegate.
