Anyone fancy giving me a general description of fitting this thing on my 93 WRX? In car is ok, just need to know where to put the bosch sensor on the engine. I think I was told to put it under the intercooler above cylinder 3 or something like that. So what do i do guys?
Thanks
Steve

You may be able to do it without removing the intercooler if you have small hands. Looking at the engine bay, in front of the intercooler (from memory) you have the throttle body and accelerator cable thingy just to the right.
If you look through the gap to the block you will see the OEM knock sensor bolted in to the block. Just behind it there are a few more threaded holes- pick a location close to the factory knock sensor if poss.
Some people have removed the factory knock sensor and put the new one and the old one back on with a longer bolt, but this is not generally recommended as either one or the other doesn't get a clear reading.
hope this helps- can maybe take some photos if you get stuck.
cheers,
simon
