i can only get about 9 or 10 psi of boost.could it be the boost solineoid clogged due to too much oil in at sometime.

Mick,

Could be. Have a check round all your boost pipes too for leaks and wotnot. Tighten up all the jubilee clips around the intercooler and look for splits or holes in other pipes.
