Hi Peeps,

Subject says it all. Does anyone else have problems starting their new scooby from cold? Tried mine this morning and it turned over about 5 to 8 times without starting. So I stopped that and tried again with no problems.

Ta

Might be stating the obvious, but this happened to my STi3, only when my misses tried to start it by pressing the accelerator down fully. The accelerator should be left well alone when starting.

I'm in herts aswell by the way

Just a thought - turn ignition on (but not to the 'turn starter' position) until you hear the fuel pump start & stop, then give it a whirl. Or, if you can't hear the fuel pump, just wait 5 seconds or so

Yup, tried all that, used to leave it a while on my old MY00.

Any more ideas peeps? Its going back to the dealer tomorrow, so I'll let you know what/if they find anything.
