wurth sells something like tar (i dont know its name) its like a very long spagetti
they use it to seal rear lights on cars.....

tiger seal or sika flex(stika flex to people in the know
) dunlop make a one too. all three are a bonding sealant and
very strong

you should be able to get Sikaflex from a boat chandlers. It is horribly sticky to work with-try some water with washing up liquid in it to protect your fingers. It doesn't half hang on once it has gone off.
