from what I know, imports are faster but use superunleaded, which is more expensive. insurance more expensive. Dealers dont like you buying parts you need a uk chassis no. but dont be put off parts are freely available. you will get a nice car for the money. There are so many to choose from.

UK car - approx £40 to fill tank (SUL), 230 - 250 miles on average to a tank.

Depends on type of driving really.

I struggle to get over 200miles to a tank, but my driving is almost 100% fast b roads. If you do motorways a lot I imagine you could get 250-300 per tank. (If cruising at higher motorway speeds though e.g. 85+mph, I find I still get 200miles per tank)

BTW UK cars also prefer SUL / Optimax (few pence more)

Service every 6 months or 7.5k, which ever comes first. Minor services come in at £120+ and major £400+, just don't ask about the 90k service

Plugs are only changed 60k same type as most cars , Air filter about £6, Oil filter £5,I run fully sinthetic so you can pay whatever is your choise of oil. Cam belt not cheap £120 before fitting, Services intermediate are realy just oil change. Brakes, you need good quality I just bourght ebc fromt £42.50. I find you can carry on spending on goodies etc.
