And no-one will post a pressurized cylinder. I went throught this same problem when I first tried Nos, as getting gas here is also very difficult. I did eventually manage to get a supply of gas myself though, but still dont think its worth it.
Its a waste of time and money as far as I'm concerned, unless it is purely for drag racing.
A lot of people just want the "Fast and Furious" effect tho, and the pub talk.

motomc1 , don't get me wrong, you are getting good results from nos - but perhaps it is just me, but I feel it is cheating. You won't have that power all the time, and as soon as the gas runs out, or you dont have it on - you will be back down to "normal".
I prefer to have a car with the power available whenever I so choose - if you see what I mean??
Out of curiousty, how much does it cost to fill up a tank? and how long would it last if you used it all the time, when you put your foot down?

I've thought about it.... I've got mates that travel back to the main land all the time...and all I'll have to do is buy a few bottles and get my mates to fill them up! or i could just pop over To france only half an hour away!!!!
hi chris yes for sure you are right ...it is cheating a bit but then massive turbos and frount mounts are not a standard thing on a scooby ..The main thing is i had a amount of money to spend and this was the best thing POWER FOR POUNDS Yes the gas is not cheep

Id guess a 10lb bottle would at absolute most give 2 mins WOT with 60-70bhp jets. Probably a lot less though.
It may be a quick fix for having no power, but long term it is bloody expensive. It is hassle having to heat the bottle ( the pressure is simply too low at ambient temps here, as ideally the pressure needs to be 900psi-100psi, which is about 28degC bottle temp. ) Even a 10lb bottle will effectively be useless with anything under 2-3lb anyway, as the pressure will start to drop dramatically below this.
Nos bottles are expensive, unless you go for a cheapy kit like the UK suppliers, who just use old CO2 Fire extinguisher bottles, and still probably charge a fortune anyway. They may be all polished and shiny, but thats what they are.
As for cheating, I dont think thats really fair, but for my money, I would want the power to be available 24/7, not just when I have forked out for an expensive refill of gas that will only last a matter of seconds.
It may seem like cheap power initially, but it isnt. Unless you are drag racing, I cant see any justification for using it. ( Unless you like to blab to everyone... "Ive got nitrous" and put a ridiculously huge big red NOS switch on the middle of the dash for all to see, then go far a race, just to get stuffed anyway after your bottle runs out.

I fitted it to a friends Hyundai Coupe. Extra 70bhp. Only tried it, as I had never used it before, and there wasnt anything available off the shelf for the car. Was a lot of hassle
