Just had a play with it and it's great Well pleased with the extra bits and options to play with.

Silly question maybe, but how the hell do I recall the BHP, etc graphs ? It seems that I need to be connected to the car, therwise I can't open the file ?? How do I do that inside the house Surely I'm just being extremely blond

I got 204 BHP at the wheels, hello

I've just ordered DD myself

I had a play with the demo and downloaded the RR data from JB's car. You just go to the RR option, then select (IIRC) open report.

You should be able to display your results then.

Ozzy,

I had mine since last July and it's great for logging cars. I had a John Banks Tek 2.5 ECU fitted back then as well, and it's bloody great

It seems that I have to start the software off in demo mode before I can open the road dyno option, then I can open the file up. Is this supposed to happen with a licensed copy ???

Oh, seems a little daft there isn't a option to open the Road Dyno files from the main screen. I was hoping the rear screen heater would trigger the run as well, but sadly it doesn't You need a long deserted road and someone to operate the laptop.....

PS I had to do a run in 2 nd gear in the end, was going to fast in third

John,

Thanks for that mate, I had the laptop 90 degrees out of phase, lol....

The only reason you struggle to keep mine in a straight line on acceleration is due to the rather ****e SO3s....Not having them again they're rubbish

I managed 203 BHP at the wheels with 199 Lb torque....How accurate is that ?? Cause it sounds great to me. Powerstation plot indicated 244 BHP with 244 Lb torque. We all know they read soo low there

That turbo you mention is that a hybrid, as I mentioned before I have a MY96 turbo in my garage, but understand that I need to get some work done to fit it. What do I have then ? Mouse has a VF 23 (??) from an STi but can't see what I'll benefit for £500 ??

It seems to be working fine with XP and I'm pleased with the new FREE enhancements. Thanks Stephen Done

I did talk to Big bear about my turbo and he said it was slightly different to mine, and would need a little modification. It came FOC with my spare engine that was in a P reg WRX. I think it maybe worth getting the Turbo rebuilt as I'm not sure of its state. Any idea who could rebuild it for me ?

1.6 bar OMG that's a fair bit of boost

Just sit the laptop on the passenger seat with a seatbelt around it and hit return on the capture screen Wait a century for the revs to build up and then struggle to keep it in a straight line Well maybe not on your car unless you let me molest your car further (after you fit a TD05) It is still a Beta version Babber, it kept crashing on my laptop for the first week, then when I was going to do my first proper run 3rd gear broke, but got some numbers since.

MY96 turbo is probably a TD05, this is what I am using, not a hybrid, just a £150 junkyard turbo with a new front cover to match our turbo inlets. You need a new cover for it. Andy F had a few, Mark Aigin does them too. If you want you can get the turbo rebuilt, I didn't bother because I have a FMIC to catch the bits if it blows up, and it seems fine at 1.67 bar.
