I have no boost gauge fitted.Boost starts at 3000rpm, revs build up gradually as does the noise till approx 5000rpm when it develops into a very loud screaching noise (it feels no quicker than rs turbo).Any ideas???????????

 

Have you checked your alternator belt and power steering belt? They may need tightening.
