Have recently noticed that when on very light throttle, in any gear the car seems to hesitate slightly when the right foot is applied. This hesitation lasts for only a second or so and you can physically feel "clears" and picks up again.
Have replaced plugs, airfilter, stuck a bucket full of injector cleaner thru and WD40'd all engine electrical connections.
At higher revs and tickover the car is fine, although the tickover may be a little low.

Is this hesitation from a standing start.
Going up through the gears, at around 2500-3000 rpm you really have to push the throttle down to get anywhere, after 3000, all ok ?? (until you change up again of course)
By the way , mine idles at around 700-800 when warmed up.

Dont really notice it when pulling away in first. But very noticable between other gears. Mine idles at about 600-700 when warm.
Dont know whats different but it has been perfect for the last three days !!??

I had mine serviced recently and a K&N filter put in, directly after the service I noticed hesitation then clearing. Just in a limited rev range - 2000-2500, fine other than that. Now, about 300 miles after the service its spot on - in fact better than ever. The ECU needs to learn its optimal settings again. Could be that you ain't covered enough distance since the new bits you put in.

Hesitation can be cured using a good air filter (K&N) Shell "optimax" fuel and if you want to go a little further add Millers Octane booster. Sidelines helped me out
