#1
Anyone know a good waterspray kit (with more than 1 jet) with boost pressure and manual switche operation? If so, know a good place to buy from? Just want some ruff prices really.
PS To fit new age.

Give EARS a call 01625 433773 (Macclesfield)
They offered me a kit that fits Evo's - complete with tank, pump, wiring, nozzles etc for around £75, when I was looking for something to put on my Rally car,
Dremel.

Hey peebs,
Looks like some folks have their wires crossed, as some folk are
talkin water injection & others are talking water spray
Just to clear up & incase any1 is unclear about the difference.
Water injection is a form of "in cylinder" cooling whereby the water is atomised and injected into the engine via the manifold.
Water spray is the system of spraying water onto the TMIC / FMIC
Both systems are completely different
FWIW a couple of years back (pre FMIC) I made a waterspray system
for on top of the TMIC & i`ve gotta say that IMHO there was no real noticable difference with it as the water was hot after a couple of minutes driving. If the water reserve was insulated or ideally in the boot then it may have been a different story.

I made a waterspray with 2 sti nozzles, some silicon hose, boot mounted water tank, a clever electronic timer device (from VELLEMAN, they make DIY kits on print boards). Now I can spray VERY cold water on the intercooler, still a top mount original. But recently tried on a rolling road session and had a 5bhp gain with it. So it's worth using it on hot days, only downside is that the tank is rather quickly empty.
Finnaly a tank that empty's quicker than the fuel one !!!!!!!!!!!!!
