Yip,
Engine coolant temperature sensor would get my bet
2 get the codes
1. Connect the black single pin male & female connector which is taped up under the dash.
2. switch ignition on (do not start engine)
3. count the pulses of the check engine light
4. x reference fault code list
Fault code 21 is the engine coolant temp sensor
If it is this u`ll probably find it`s also idling rough,
as if the sensor goes open circuit the care is pemenantly
in cold enrichment mode.
Have phun

Rayman,
It`s in the water elbow which connects the two block 1/2`s together. Under the front of the manifold & at the back of the
alternator
Sorry 2 say m8 but u WILL have to take out the alternator 2 get in2 the sensor It`s not that a big job though, I did it recently and it took bout 1 hour all in.
Top tips though :
1/ before you start empty as much water outta the header tank as you can (keep it in a container for repacing once finished)
2/ Put loadsa rags at the front of the sensor before you slacken it off, as there will still be water / coolant in the pipe (not a lot though, if u emptied the header tank).
3/ BTW this is the ideal time to fit an oil pressure guage if u want 1, since u r gonna have the alternator out anyway
4/ If u r running a link ECU you can check the sensor as soon as its fitted (i.e. without replacing alternator etc) just plug it in2 the harness and turn ignition to on position (DONT START THE ENGINE) then on link controller press bottom left hand button to show engine temp
5/ If u r not running a link, put a meter over the sensor terminals and the sensor body, set meter to ohms and warm the
probe with u r hands, the resistance will change propotionally with temperature
If u have any probs lemme know & I`ll c if I can help u out further

Edited to say yeah that looks like it bud, sorry 4 the bum steer,

Just edited my post fella.
Didn`t know what YM ur on.
That sensor u`ve taken the pix of looks like the right 1
If u wanna check put a meter over the terminals and set it to resistance if the reading is 0 ohms it`s gone open circuit.
I`ll mail u my contact no.
