Question

Anyone else suffering from squeaky seats?

And if yes, which bit do you need to oil/WD40 or whatever, to stop it?

Cheers, Alex

Mine need tightening a little I think.

When cornering it feels as if something is sliding, from side to side, underneath banging into the runners.

What do I oil/tighten? (4 door)

Alex,

eat more chips and then wipe you hands on the sides of the seat - the grease will work its way onto the squeaky bits!

Hope you have a fun weekend with your guests

Had the same thing on my passenger seat, did not bother me but girlfriend was worried that the seat was going to break off!!!

Once looked under the seat with a torch I noticed that not both the sliders were locking in properly.

So I undone the offending slider at each end (there is a bolt that holds it to the floor at each end). Slid the seat back and forth locking in place and doing it over and over then tightened the bolts back up.

Has been okay for about 6 months now, Girlfriend is HAPPIER again.

Cheers
Scott

Same problem here, didn't realise it was a "design feature".
