Boost figure on WRX PPP

I have just fitted the superb SECS monitor from psi3.
I have the PPP on a MY01 WRX. I know that the board in this piggy backs the ECU and to cut a long story short 'fools' the Ecu into thinking it is giving different boost than it really is.
The car drives superbly with no problems..... but the boost figure from the SECS unit shows the ECU thinks it's boosing between 0.6 and 0.8 bar... would you expect this figure?
I am seriously thinking about connecting a boost gauge to the manifold to find out if it reading correctly..

From the DeltaDash logs I've got, the WRX PPP seems to read around 0.7bar so that would be right. The same car was reading around 1.3bar at the manifold.
