Currently thinking of getting one of these because the number of the nasty white vans in the area has increased. Has anybody mounted one of these on the front of an Impreza (MY00). Apparently the best place is near to the numberplate but I like to see pictures.

Sorry, dont have any pics, but they mount just on the underside of the front bumper lip, eso they sit on either side of the number plate, facing forward.
In this position, they are not too obtrusive to the "passing eye" and not a problem to fit either as can be done without removal of bumper cover.
Dont forget, once fitted and you get a "warning signal", slow down and then "switch off unit", otherwise, they will pull you over anyway as they wont be able to get a laser lock and know something is fitted. Incidentally, motorway bridge cameras ,picks up at around 1.5 miles if on open stretch.......

 

Anyone fitted it to the back of a Scooby? If so, where? Under the bumper?
