I mean electric folding mirrors
I know they had them originally so someone must know how I can get them back again.
What did they take out and where might I find the bits again?
Part numbers would be nice anyone???

As you know the P1 was based on the STi but are you saying that they had them and then the bits were removed ??
If so i guess the wiring will still be there so you just need a pair of STi mirrors and the switches i guess ?

NINJA, some of the JDM Imprezas did have electric folding mirrors and as the P1 was based on the JDM STiV it seems a reasonable assumption(sp?)that the P1 may have the wiring in place if so then it should just be a question on getting the correct parts.

My mirrors fold with a button by the mirror adjustment toggle next to the handbrake.
I guess the easiest way to tell if it's a standard loom and your just missing the components is to pull some trim up either off the door skin out around by the handbrake and see if you have plugs on the wires.
The door mirrors are going to need to have motors in, these parts new I would think are gonna be expensive, best to check Grade A or a decent Scoob breaker to see if they have an import in.
I always forget to fold my mirrors in anyway...

I'm gonna pull the center bit apart at the weekend. I guess it's a gadget thing why I want them to fold again. Aparently they had to take them off in order to get the car UK approved. I'll look in the mirrors as well...
You never know, they might have just removed the button!!!
Hoping too much aren't I!

Ok so I've now got the Prodrive response. Here's a clipit that answers my query
So that's that then Still I'm going to have a look for the wiring anyway, got nothing better to do at the weekend. Where there's a will there's a way right!
A P1 uses the same 2 door bodyshell as a Type R but is built with 4 door running gear and European electrical system. Hence the car gets ABS and no adjustable centre diff, no electric folding mirrors and is fitted with a rear foglight
