Unhappy

Can anyone suggest how to cure this problem?

Im not technically minded so try to go easy on me. Here goes -

I've got a 99 Impreza sport and it seems to stutter when injection should be kicking in (around 3500rpm). It continues to stutter until 4500rpm at which point the injection kicks in ok.

Stutter = it starts to accelerate for a split second then stops, then does it again a few times. i.e. its going to accelerate but is holding back

I've just had it serviced (the big service) and no problems were found on the ecu etc.

Any ideas?

Stevie

Thumbs up

Check the oil level mate - sounds like they could have overfilled it which could cause that sort of problem.

I had a *really* duff tank of optimax cause hesitation on mine - used to get hesitation 2000->2500 (really lathargic (sp)) when using regular unleaded (like it was clogging up).

One cr@p tank of Optimax brought it all back...

just a thought
