Engine re - map
#1
Wonder if anyone can help.I have a P1 and am considering having the Graham Goode remap done.Apparently this does not involve a new chip but just some messing about with a laptop and should be undetectable for warranty purposes!!Has anyone got any thoughts on this or alternative places where I could get it done?
Many thanks.

That'll be using EcuTek products then - check out ecutek.co.uk
As with any remap, it's more down the the mappers ability than the product used.
What do you want to achieve from the remap, and what gains are you expecting?

Thanks for the help.Really want to achieve quicker throttle response and torque.Graham Goode reckon their pack is good for about 30 bhp as well.Just thinking the remap may be better value than changing exhaust etc.?
Cheers.

Thanks for the advice guys. Was thinking of a sports cat rerplacement as have been told no noticeable difference to a de-cat.Is this true and what replacement pipes would you recommend?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
