Its the Cat warning light. Its attached to the sensor in the downpipe before the cat. It lets you know your fu*king the cat because of eg excess temperature etc etc.

Well sure enough my Engine Check light came on as soon as i started the car up after fitting a bulb to it. Haven't had a chance to check the code yet but i'd guess that the same error would have been showing since i bought the car 4 months ago.

As for the 'cat' light. I assume this should also be fitted with a bulb on a 94 wrx? May be missing to hide the same error as the check light?

Incidentaly, I'd recommend removing the little green covers from the dash bulbs... i can actually see what speed i'm going at night time now

 

What the light between the Anitlock brake warning light and the oil light on the instrument panel on my 94 WRX.

I took the instruments out to replace the check engine light that was 'conveniently' missing when i bought the car. Just wondering if this other light is required as there is no bulb in it either.
