Is Steam From The Radiator Normal ?
#1
Hi Peeps,
This might seem like a really silly post to some people but :
This is the first winter that i have had my scoob (my95 uk). I have been noticing recently (especially when its been raining) that when i stop the car after a good drive i have shed loads of steam coming from the radiator of the car (and i mean quite a bit). This only seems to happen when i'm driving in the wet.
Can someone stop me from panicking and let me know that this is normal please
Cheers
*Coops*
ps. it is definately steam

Probably just the raijn getting on the rad and then steaming off when ther's no airflow to take it elsewhere.
Stop panicking!
Ron.
ps, might be worth just checking the coolant level when the car's cold!!!
