Has anyone played around with a 2002 Forester Turbo S or Forester GT(170 hp). Any results/tips would be appreciated. How much boost can the standard turbo handle?

Thanks

The UK Forester turbo puts out 7 psi but the japanese JDM versions are 12 psi (240 bhp)so thats a target to aim for.
Other than the ECU, I don't know of any differences. Both use TD04L turbos.

Do a search, people have played round with the original 168bhp version and I guess the present 177bhp version is much the same. If I remember rightly there was a good post in december about it.

Look at the thread below, this should give you an idea of mods that I & others have done to their foresters.
