How hard is it to fit a new turbo? coz it looks well easy to get to. The reason I ask is my 1999 Impreza has done 92,000 and I assume it's still on the original turbo, so will probabley need a swap at some point.

Depends how corroded the studs are.

 

I removed my TD05 fitted to 95 WRX in Oct 2002 with no problems at all. From start to finish it took 6 hrs (2 of which was exhaust removal as I have slip on sections).
