as the post says one of the rubbers came away from the metal arm and now i am left with a nice arc on my windscreen. the tip of the blade was the culprit and because it was raining constantly in belfast these past 4-5 days i didnt notice. now that the car has been cleaned i have notice an arc where the metal has came into contact with the glass. the offending blade has been fixed but i fear the damage has been done. anyone any ideas how to remove the arc from the windscreen without replacing the screen?

Any of these auto glass places can polish it out for you, I had it done once, about £30 was a few years ago though.

jewellers rouge is the stuff to use
