From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
Anybody run the above on a modded scoob?
Whats the opinion on the racelogic TC or alternatives?
Anyone?

I know.. and I can do it pretty well.. just wondered if the 'proper' solutions were any good, or worth having..
Sounds like a no..
Im capable of feeling when the car is loosing traction, so must be a no..

IMHO if TC is wheel independant then it is good, if it drops power to all 4 wheels (like my old car) it is Sh!te!!
My old car used to Retard the timing to drop power and it felt like ages until it came back on..
I think 'good old' left foot/right foot control is better
Now Anti lag/launch control MMMmmmmmm

David,
I looked in2 the Racelogic TC system about 2 years back when i had an AP paddle clutch & L&B flywheel on the mota, as at the time it appeared to be the solution to spinning all 4 wheels off the line during a 6K launch. However the more I looked into and the more tuning places I talked to about it the less attractive it was. Finally I decided to spend the £1K on other "stuff" as the comment "if u think gearboxes aren`t lasting you now, wait & see how long they last you with TC & LC"
was enough to put me off. As i thought the money would be well spent if it even saved one gearbox. That and the fact that the system had never been fitted to a scoob before
Ended up taking the paddle out and fitting a more slippery clutch (reads gearbox friendly).

David,
Probably not what you're looking for - but I reckon you maybe the kind of guy that's mad enough to try it.

David,
Bear in mind it was about 2 years ago I looked at it so maybe the price is more "user friendly"
now? Also with a standard(ish) clutch it might not be so bad on boxes. But as we all know the scoobs box is made of chocolate, so go at it 2 hard an it`ll bite u in the butt (reads wallet) Incedentally I`m speaking from experience here (on box number 5)

There's some company between London and Brum does a pretty good job. Wheel independent, linked to braking and diff control...
...mmmm - yes near - errrrrrrr Banbury. A friend of mine uses them - thinks they are great - mind you they can be a tad expensive.
