I have a uk spec impreza with tek 1 ecu remap.When out the other day i floored it and heared a loud pinking,or deternation noise. Would this be a fault with the remap or another component.
tek1 is just the earlier ecu's code put onto a later ecu. Most likely you have a different problem (unless ecu has just been fitted?) - any CEL? Get it checked ASAP.
