Hi,

Can anybody surgest were i can get brighter bulbs for my display on my dash, as i can't see the fuel and temp in the dark, or do you think there are bulbs gone?

My 94 WRX is the same. The numbers are easy enough to see but the needles are impossible to see in the dark. I haven't checked the bulbs or anything yet though.

My MY94 WRX was like this as well when I got it. I found that each of the bulbs had a small blue "condom" on it. Removed them and hey presto much better. Still have difficulty reading the trip meter at night, but then that is just crap design.

There is a Blue LED kit available which will make your dashboard Bright Bluw. This is not only cool, but very easy to read.

The kits are (apparrently) very good.


NOTE: Beware doing what I did and being clever. I rebuilt the dash binnacle with blue backlighting LEDs and with orange LEDs for the trip meter and guage needles. Must have done something wrong cos last week the whole interior was plunged into darkness.
