The service book for my car is missing, my car was sold 2yrs ago by subaru when it was 2 yrs old. The dealer who supplied it new has closed down & the dealer that serviced it according to subaru Uk have lost there records. The dealer who sold it 2 yrs ago only gave it a pre-sale check & oil.

I now have a duplicate service book but no stamps in it, despite the car being genuine & FSH. Very frustrating, any ideas?? I am beginning to hate subaru.

Question

I would have thought that Subaru UK would have had all the information on its computer system as to allow other dealers to check the cars history?

so would I, subaru could only name the places it was serviced/sold. these then had either lost there records or closed down.
