Was under me motor on Saturday and noticed on the drivers side driveshaft, after it has come out of gearbox about 18inches along it has a piece that drops down (if i remember right) i found cleanish grease everywhere couldn't see where it has come from, my first thought was that sleeve like a cv boot above it, but i'm not sure. It is going to dealer on Monday for an M.o.t (first one MY00) so i have told them about it, hope it is a warranty problem if it is a problem.

Any ideas would be appreciated if you can work out what i am on about before i take it in so i know what to expect.

It will have come from the CV boot, there isn't anywhere else that has grease.
