Question

We all know the usual quality of Subaru paint - like thin

BUT

I was washing PTMW! yesterday & amongst all the other little stonechips was a section of bare metal 15mm x 10mm This was on the FNS wheelarch & no obvious signs of damage, just a poxing section of fresh metal where a large amount of paint had flaked off

Other than bugger would this be covered by the Paintwork Warranty that came with the car? Its not a stonechip or crash damage, just a section where the paint has gone missing OK, a stone may have been the cause of it, but it should only scratch or dent, not take a load of paint off

Advice?
