Yo can run the boost. Its just that you probably had it so close to the fuel cut. You can get rid of the fuel cut but I don't recomend it as I know human nature. You'll end up with 2 Bar boost and some melted pistons.

edit: remember, as the weather gets colder, your boost would start to increase.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE, WHEN I PUT MY FOOT STRAIGHT TO THE FLOOR IN MY SCOOBY IT JERKS BADLY I HAVE A DAWES DEVICE ON IT RUNNING 1.1 BAR, GOT FULL EXHAUST SYSTEM, TOOK DUMP VALVE OFF TODAY TO SEE IF IT WOULD HELP BUT STILL NO CHANGE, DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLUE WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE AND HOW TO SOLVE IT PLEASE

The bad jerk you describe, is it like a sudden stop?
Has it started doing this since being modified(dawes, exhaust)?

If so it might be that your getting too much boost specially in the cold weather and the fuel cut could be being reached.

Is your car as username suggests an rb5?

As James says, its the cold weather making you boost more. Especially if you set the Dawes borderline to the fuel cut.

Yes my car is a RB5,thanks for the help, took the dawes device off yesturday and i believe that the problem has stopped, I thought you could run ur car at 1.1 bar though, so if that doesnt work for my car then how do i make it faster. can anyone help me with this please. The dawes device will probably be up for sale soon along with a baileys dumpvalve if you know anyone interested.
